This episode points out the upcoming laser-based revolution in data storage. Some predictions are a bit dated (the data Laserdisc never did quite make it), but others are dead-on. The funniest bit of the show is when Dragon's Lair creator Rick Dyer comes on to demo the "Halcyon," a game console based on a laserdisc and a speech-recognition unit. Unintentional hilarity ensues as the speech system can't tell the difference between "one" and "two" and tells the show's host that he isn't speaking clearly.
